2024 Grants

Founded in 2021, the Feather River Community Fund’s goal is to help sustain and improve the capacity of rural communities of the northern Sierra-Cascades region. To this end, the Fund is requesting proposals from individuals, organizations, and businesses (including start-ups) who seek to improve the community capacity, vitality, economy, or environment in Plumas County.

Projects will be evaluated based on the following criteria: need, impact, sustainability and contribution to the FRCF’s mission (investing in natural resources and rural communities to sustain and enhance their growth, viability, and vitality).

Projects that aim to assist in the rebuilding of communities, businesses and natural resources following the Dixie Fire are encouraged.

Interested parties should complete the application below or by calling the number below. Applications are due November 11th, with awards to be made in mid-November. Questions should be directed to Feather River Community Fund’s secretary Marsha Roby at 530-394-7095.
